Review Sef Advance Component

The use of the Sef Advance Component, which is a Commercial version, depends on extra program's that needs to be installed on the server.

This Program is Ion-Cube Loader and can be installed by you with a web browser installation, IF your provider allows these kind of program's.
Not all of them want you to up-load and install this.

I was really satisfied with Sef Advanced until some time ago.
I am still running it on one site now, it used to be Three...

Sef Advance Support?

Actually, it is more the lack of support, whatever those statements on the website say.

I have send several an e-mails about one site ,of which the server was upgraded to PHP5 and MySql 5 that broke the Ion Cube loader, but never got a response back...still waiting.

Back in the days of Eric working on Mambo, there was support from him, also on the Mambo Forum.
Now his last post on this forum is on December 2005!

On an other domain it worked great until a few days ago, the domain name was a redirect to the main site.
It worked for years, and now it says I have to buy an extra license? what is this?
It is just a redirect !!
But it broke my carefully build up Google rankings!!
Back to squire one!

Sef Advance Conclusion?

It works fine and can help you with your SEO and SEF efforts.
If you are willing to pay the 40 Dollar.
And are willing to wait for some support.

But now there are better options, especially for Joomla sites.
